Adam Kirk is an Associate in the Savannah office and practices in the areas of Taxation, Corporate/Securities, and Real Estate, with a focus on affordable housing and financing through the use of I.R.C. § 42 Tax Credits.

Mr. Kirk is a Certified Public Accountant in Georgia, and is a member of the American Institute of CPAs. Prior to law school, he served as an auditor in the Entrepreneurial Services practice of an international public accounting firm and, later, in financial and SEC reporting roles for publicly traded companies.

Mr. Kirk received his B.B.A., magna cum laude, from Georgia State University in 1994, and his J.D., cum laude, from Boston University School of Law in 2002. He received Dean’s awards from Boston University School of Law in 2000 and 2001, and was an Edward F. Hennessey Distinguished Scholar in 2002. While at Boston University, he was research assistant to Tamar Frankel, author of The Regulation of Money Managers and Securitization. He was also a lecturer at the Boston University School of Management, teaching courses in accounting.
