Presented in partnership with the Savannah Economic Development Authority, the Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce, the Georgia Center of Innovation for Logistics and the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP), HunterMaclean’s Savannah Critical Issues Forum on Logistics was held at Savannah Technical College on October 10, 2013.
Rick Blasgen, president and CEO of CSCMP, moderated a panel made up of Frank Casaine, distribution center director at Pier 1 Imports; Curtis Foltz, executive director at Georgia Ports Authority; and Jay Neely, vice president, law and public affairs at Gulfstream Aerospace. The forum addressed a wide range of logistics issues affecting Georgia and was attended by more than 170 area business, civic, and educational leaders as well as Georgia Secretary of State Brian Kemp.
