HunterMaclean, a business law firm with offices in Savannah and St. Simons Island, is pleased to announce that Patrick L. Barkley and William J. Gallagher, III, were recently elected as partners by the voting shareholders of the Firm.
“Patrick and Will have both proven themselves as established leaders within our Firm,” said Brad Harmon, Managing Partner. “They have certainly earned the respect of their colleagues, and we are proud to announce them as partners.”
Patrick earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Auburn University. He received his J.D. from the Samford University Cumberland School of Law, where he served as an articles editor for the American Journal of Trail Advocacy and received multiple Scholar of Merit awards. Patrick’s practice focuses on specialty litigation and includes admiralty, transportation, logistics, commercial collections, insurance defense, business litigation, and real estate litigation. Patrick serves as a board member for Urban Hope and is a member of the Historic Savannah Foundation’s 13th Colony Society and the Telfair Museum of Art’s William Jay Society. He is a graduate of the 2015 class of Leadership Dalton/Whitefield County.
Will Gallagher earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Emory University. He graduated Order of the Coif and cum laude from Villanova University School of Law, where he also earned an LL.M. in Taxation. During law school, he served as an editor for the Environmental Law Journal and as a class representative for the Villanova Student Bar Association. Will’s practice focuses on the areas of trusts and estates, taxation, and corporate law. He works in both the Savannah and St. Simons Island offices and is active with Civitan International, the 13th Colony Society, and the William Jay Society. He is also a graduate of the 2013-2014 class of Leadership Glynn.
