Georgia Super Lawyers recently honored three HunterMaclean attorneys as 2011 Rising Stars. All Rising Stars are 40 years of age or younger or have been in practice for 10 years or less.
HunterMaclean attorneys recognized as 2011 Rising Stars include Bradley M. Harmon for Business Litigation, Bates Lovett for General Litigation and Colin A. McRae for Transportation and Maritime Law.
The list of Georgia Rising Stars, which represents more than 60 practice areas, is published in the March 2011 issue of Atlanta magazine and in a special issue of Georgia Super Lawyers: Rising Stars, which is mailed to every attorney in the state.
“It is an honor for three of our top young attorneys to be selected as Rising Stars,” said Frank S. Macgill, managing partner at HunterMaclean. “Each of these hard-working individuals certainly deserves this recognition.”
Every year, Rising Stars honors the top young lawyers in Georgia as chosen by Georgia Super Lawyers and through the independent research of Law & Politics. Only 2.5 percent of Peach State attorneys are named Rising Stars.
Rising Stars are typically selected based upon ballots sent to the most recent group of Super Lawyers, which consists of the top five percent of attorneys in the state. Super Lawyers then vote for the best attorneys who fit the age and experience criteria.
