HunterMaclean is pleased to announce that Skip Lohmeyer, chief technology officer at HunterMaclean, has been recognized by the International Legal Technology Association (ILTA) with a 2012 Distinguished Peer Award for outstanding leadership.

This is the third installment of ILTA’s Distinguished Peer Award program, which recognizes excellence and provides a forum for peer-nominated, peer-judged innovations in technology and leadership. Lohmeyer has more than 15 years of experience as an IT director within the legal profession.

“I’m honored to be recognized by such a widely respected organization,” said Lohmeyer. “IT plays an integral role in an attorney’s ability to serve clients and brings the latest technology to the office, the board room and the courtroom.”

The International Legal Technology Association’s Distinguished Peer Awards program honors the achievements of members who make technology work for the legal profession. The program recognizes those who have delivered great business value and made a positive impact through their innovations and implementations or have been champions in specific areas for their organizations.

Recipients were presented awards during the annual award ceremony at ILTA’s annual educational conference, ILTA 2012, held in Washington, D.C. on August 30, 2012.

“On behalf of ILTA, I’d like to congratulate this year’s Distinguished Peer Award winners,” said Randi Mayes, executive director of ILTA. “We are proud to recognize exceptional technology projects and the champions of those projects. I applaud and celebrate our winners for sharing their successes.”
