The Phi Alpha Delta law fraternity honored HunterMaclean with an “Outstanding Community Supporter” award in recognition of the Firm’s support of the 2014 Armstrong State University Moot Court Team.
As a sponsor of the Moot Court Team, HunterMaclean makes it possible for Savannah-area undergraduates to compete and win at regional and national tournaments. The Recognition Dinner took place on April 16, 2015, at Armstrong State University.
The Moot Court program began at Armstrong in 2002 and sent its first team to the national tournament in 2003. Its students won the Southeastern Undergraduate Regional Championship in 2004 and 2006, the National American Collegiate Moot Court Championship in 2007, and Best Petitioner Brief in 2011.
