2016 Savannah Logistics Lunch
The 2016 Savannah Logistics Lunch will be held on Thursday, July 21. Presented by the Center of Innovation for Logistics and HunterMaclean, this offers a regional, in-depth focus from the Georgia Logistics Summit.
This second annual event will focus on Technology and Transportation. After opening remarks from Georgia Economic Development Commissioner Chris Carr, a panel will discuss the use of technology in transportation both locally and nationwide.

Chris Carr is the Commissioner of the Georgia Department of Economic Development, the state agency responsible for creating jobs and investment in Georgia.
Jannine Miller serves as director of the Center of Innovation for Logistics and works to fuel logistics industry growth and global competitiveness in Georgia.
Panelists:
Brandon Tatom is a Strategic Sales Executive for C.H. Robinson. His focus is consulting companies on their supply chain strategies.
Professor Chip White holds the Schneider National Chair of Transportation and Logistics at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
Kent Williams is the Regional Vice President of Sales and Operations in Florida and Georgia for Averitt Express. He has over 30 years experience in the LTL transportation industry.
Gordon Hammer leads the Georgia Ports Authority’s Client Relations Team, which ensures high quality of service, customer retention, and distinctive customer interaction.
Chris Jones is Vice President of Marketing and Services for Descartes. Descartes provides on-demand, software-as-a-service solutions for logistics-intensive businesses.
Chris “Smitty” Smith (moderator) is a partner in the Savannah office of the HunterMaclean law firm, where he leads the Logistics Practice Group.
