The Savannah Critical Issues Forum on Logistics was held at Savannah Technical College on October 10, 2013. The forum addressed a wide range of logistics issues affecting Georgia. More than 170 area business leaders, as well as Secretary of State Brian Kemp, attended the event.
HunterMaclean presented the forum in partnership with the Savannah Economic Development Authority, the Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce, the Georgia Center of Innovation for Logistics, and the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals. Rick Blasgen, president and CEO of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals, served as moderator. Panelists included Frank Casaine, distribution center director at Pier 1 Imports; Curtis Foltz, executive director at Georgia Ports Authority; and Jay Neely, vice president of law and public affairs at Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation.
