The prestigious Georgia Super Lawyer honor is awarded annually to the top five percent of attorneys in the state, as chosen by their peers and through independent research.
HunterMaclean attorneys recognized as 2012 Georgia Super Lawyers include the following:
- T. Mills Fleming
- Wade W. Herring, II
- Dennis B. Keene
- Frank S. Macgill
- Christopher W. Phillips
- Janet A. Shirley
- W. Brooks Stillwell, III
- John M. Tatum
- Harold B. Yellin
- Arnold C. Young
“We are delighted to have so many partners from our firm selected for this year’s Super Lawyers list,” said Frank S. Macgill, HunterMaclean’s managing partner. “Our attorneys work hard for our clients and it shows.”
HunterMaclean’s attorneys were selected after ballots were sent to Georgia lawyers who have been licensed in the state for five years or more. Listed in the Georgia Super Lawyers 2012 publication as well as in a special edition of Atlanta Magazine, the attorneys are organized by their primary areas of practice.
Super Lawyers is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high-degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The selection process includes independent research, peer nominations and peer evaluations.
Super Lawyers magazine features the list and profiles of selected attorneys and is distributed to attorneys in the state or region and the ABA-accredited law school libraries. Super Lawyers is also published as a special section in leading city magazines across the country, reaching more than 13 million readers.
Each candidate is evaluated on 12 indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement. Selections are made on an annual, state-by-state basis. The objective is to create a credible, comprehensive and diverse listing of outstanding attorneys that can be used as a resource for attorneys and consumers searching for legal counsel.
