“Ben is widely known as one of the most talented and well-respected attorneys in coastal Georgia,” said Frank Macgill, HunterMaclean’s managing partner. “Our clients will certainly benefit from his extensive experience in estate planning, trusts and tax issues and from his knowledge of the Golden Isles business community. He is an outstanding addition to the exceptional team of lawyers at our Brunswick office. We’re delighted to welcome Ben to the firm.”
Prior to joining HunterMaclean, Hartman practiced law as a partner at another Brunswick firm. He is a past president of the Brunswick-Glynn County Bar Association and a fellow with the Lawyers Foundation of Georgia.
“Working at HunterMaclean will allow me to better serve my clients and will make available an array of legal services not otherwise available locally,” said Hartman.

A graduate of Leadership Georgia and Leadership Glynn, he currently serves on the board of the College of Coastal Georgia Foundation and the Coastal Medical Access Project in Brunswick. He also serves as chair of the Katz Whittle Foundation.
Hartman is active in the Fiduciary Law Section of the State Bar of Georgia and has been a frequent lecturer at institutes sponsored by the State Bar.
