Dennis Keene, a partner with the law firm of HunterMaclean, recently served as program chair for a three-day seminar hosted by ALFA International in Palm Springs, Calif.
The seminar, which took place March 11-13 and was titled “Pioneering through the New Economic Frontier: Product Liability in a Changed World,” had a record number of clients attending from American, European and Asian companies and featured more than 60 speakers and moderators from 13 different countries.
An accomplished attorney, Keene is a member of HunterMaclean’s specialty litigation group where he represents corporations and individuals in tort-based litigation with an emphasis in product liability and transportation law. Currently, Keene serves on the Products Liability and Transportation Practice Group Steering Committees for ALFA International, a prestigious global network of law firms.
Keene earned a B.A. in Economics, magna cum laude, from Syracuse University and a J.D., cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law. After law school, he completed the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General’s (JAG) Corps Officer Basic Course with honors and served in the U.S. Army JAG Corps, holding various legal positions including government contract attorney, procurement fraud advisor, prosecutor and criminal defense attorney.
