HunterMaclean partner Kirby Mason was honored earlier today at Savannah Technical College Foundation’s annual 2013 Tribute to Community STARs, which was held in the Eckburg Auditorium at Savannah Tech’s campus.
“Kirby Mason is a talented litigator with a remarkable dedication to serving the Savannah community,” said HunterMaclean managing partner Frank S. Macgill. “Her ongoing commitment to a variety of local non-profit organizations reflects HunterMaclean’s extensive legacy of community involvement.”
Mason is a partner in HunterMaclean’s litigation practice group who represents a wide range of businesses in contract disputes, litigates real estate issues and defends banking institutions. She has successfully represented employers facing employment claims as well as medical providers charged with professional negligence, resulting in numerous defense verdicts.
Mason is admitted to the State Bars of Georgia, South Carolina and Montana. She is a member of the American Bar Association and the Savannah Bar Association and an elected board member of the Georgia Defense Lawyers Association.
Since coming to Savannah she has served on numerous community organizations, volunteering her time and talents to organizations such as the United Way, the Rape Crisis Center, the Boy Scouts of America, Big Brothers and Sisters, the Emmaus House, Habitat for Humanity, the Truancy Intervention Project, and others.
Every year, the Savannah Technical College Foundation publicly recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions through leadership and community involvement. Founded in 1984, the Savannah Technical College Foundation has diligently worked to enhance adult literacy, learning, workforce training and economic development in Bryan, Chatham, Effingham and Liberty Counties.
