HunterMaclean is pleased to announce that four lawyers from the firm were recently selected by their peers as Lawyers of the Year by The Best Lawyers in America® 2013 (Copyright 2012 by Woodward/White, Inc., of Aiken, SC).
The following HunterMaclean attorneys were honored by Best Lawyers:
- Edward O. Henneman, Jr. – 2013 Savannah Real Estate Law “Lawyer of the Year”
- John M. Hewson III – 2013 Savannah Corporate Law “Lawyer of the Year”
- Frank S. Macgill – 2013 Savannah Trusts and Estates “Lawyer of the Year”
- Arnold C. Young – 2013 Savannah Product Liability Litigation – Defendants “Lawyer of the Year”
Attorneys honored as Lawyers of the Year have received particularly high ratings in Best Lawyers surveys, earning a high level of respect among their peers for their expertise, professionalism and integrity.
“We’re deeply honored that our peers have expressed such confidence in our work,” said Frank S. Macgill, HunterMaclean’s managing partner. “We strive to provide our clients with the best service possible, and it is always rewarding when that is recognized.”
Last month, 28 HunterMaclean attorneys were included in Best Lawyers in America 2013, marking a record for the firm.
Since it was first published in 1983, Best Lawyers has become universally regarded as the definitive guide to legal excellence. Because Best Lawyers is based on an exhaustive peer-review survey in which more than 36,000 leading attorneys cast almost 4.4 million votes on the legal abilities of other lawyers in their practice areas, and because lawyers are not required or allowed to pay a fee to be listed, inclusion in Best Lawyers is considered a singular honor. Corporate Counsel magazine has called Best Lawyers “the most respected referral list of attorneys in practice.”
