HunterMaclean partner Daniel Crook was recently named a 2014 ‘On the Rise’ attorney by the Fulton County Daily Report. The honor is given to an elite group of Georgia lawyers under 40 who contribute to both the legal community and the communities in which they live. The complete list of honorees was published in the August 18 edition of the Fulton County Daily Report.

Crook is a partner with HunterMaclean’s corporate group and his practice includes mergers & acquisitions and commercial real estate with a focus on tax credit development. He also represents companies in the negotiation and documentation of corporate transactions and capitalization transactions. In addition, he has a niche practice representing organic farmers and ranchers in commercial, logistical, and regulatory issues.
An active community volunteer, Crook currently serves as vice president for the board of Quantum, Inc., which creates high-quality, sustainable jobs for people with disabilities. He was a board member of CrimeStoppers of Savannah-Chatham County and a 2014 graduate of Leadership Savannah.
After graduating with highest honors from Georgia Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science degree in public policy, Crook went on to earn both his Juris Doctor and Master of Laws degree in taxation from Northwestern School of Law, where he served as the senior editor for the Northwestern Journal of International Law and Business.
