Harold Yellin is interviewed about the Savannah Music Festival by Chip Rogers of the Georgia Public Broadcasting (GPB) radio show Georgia Works. They discuss Georgia’s largest and most unique music festival, which, in this year’s 25th anniversary season, is presenting 100 concerts over a seventeen-day period.
As chairman of the board of directors of the festival, Mr. Yellin has seen the festival’s tremendous growth under Rob Gibson’s direction. He shares the enormous impact the festival has on residents, visitors, and local businesses, including a robust educational component and a 10-to-1 return on the investment made by the City of Savannah.
