Josh Yellin is a partner in the Firm’s real estate department, practicing primarily in commercial real estate, zoning/land use, and commercial leasing.
Josh actively advises and assists clients with all facets of commercial real estate transactions, including negotiating and drafting contracts, obtaining zoning and entitlements for developments, and negotiating leases. He routinely represents developers and other clients in various zoning and land use matters before local governmental bodies in the metropolitan Savannah area. Additionally, Josh assists clients with local licensing issues, including alcohol licensing.
Josh graduated from Tufts University, cum laude, in 2008 with a B.A. in History and Environmental Studies. He went on to earn his J.D. at the University of California Hastings College of Law, where he concentrated in government law and served as the managing and executive editor of the West-Northwest Journal of Environmental Law & Policy.
Before joining HunterMaclean, Josh worked at the California Public Utilities Commission in its Administrative Law Judge Division.
Josh lives in Savannah with his wife and two children.
